On June 5 to 8, 2019, more than 140 experts in the field of intellectual property protection from 14 countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Finland and France) took part in the International Conference "Modern regulation of intellectual property and licensing in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union".
The conference was organized by the Interregional Public Organization (IRPO) "Chamber of Patent Attorneys" (Russia), Russian PO "Licensing Society" (Russia), PO "Belarusian Association of Patent Attorneys" and the "BelBrand" Association for Intellectual Property Protection. The partnership support to the event was provided by the LLC "Gorodissky and Partners Legal Firm" (Russia), the "Lekspatent" Company (Belarus), the Patent Law Firm "A. Zalesov and Partners" (Russia), the LLC "INTELSONLINE" (Russia), the online service for searching trademarks POISKZNAKOV.RU, and the Search System "Znaki.ru" (Russia).
At the solemn opening of the conference, the welcoming words were pronounced by the following high-ranking guests and participants: Alexander Shumilin, the Chairman of the State Committee for Sciences and Technologies of the Republic of Belarus; Armen Azizyan, Vice-President of the Eurasian Patent Office; Vladimir Riabovolov, Director General of the National Centre of Intellectual Property; Tatiana Yakubovich and Igor Komarovsky, MPs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; Alexander Khristoforov, the President of the Russian Chamber of Patent Attorneys; Natalia Karpova, Vice-President of the RPO "Licensing Society"; Zholymbet Baishev, Chairman of the EAEU's Court; Raisa Kozorezova, Judge of the Panel for Intellectual Property Cases; Vadim Ipatov, Director of the National Centre for Legislation and Legal Studies of the Republic of Belarus; and Andrei Metelitsa, Director of the Chief Agreement-Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
