On November 29, Albert Taipov, Chair of the "BelBrand" Association, and Alexander Yuraga, its Project Co-ordinator, discussed current issues in the sphere of intellectual property pro-tection and exchanged views on law enforcement practices in the EAEU with other participants of the conference and learned more about the pecu-liarities of patent legislation of Azer-baijan, Bulgaria, Germany, Latvia, Moldova, USA, and Turkmenistan.
Of special interest were the methods of the forensic patent technical examina-tion, patent disputes and geographical indications.
The Belarusian patent at-torneys Mariam Goryachko, Denis Nedvedsky, Svetlana Korolyova, Vla-dimir Goncharov and Irina Pozdnyakova took part in the conference. Notably, patent attorneys from Belarus are permanent and active participants of the "BelBrand" Discussion Club.
