Representatives of the "BelBrand" Association arrived at the home territory of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky at the personal invitation of Vladimir Mikhailovich Solovyov, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Udmurtia, who had earlier visited in 2015, in the city of Minsk, a concert dedicated to the works of the great composer, organized by the Association.
A welcoming word to all the participants of the exhibition was addressed personally by V. M. Solovyov, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Udmurtia.
On behalf of the "BelBrand" Association, the opening ceremony was attended by Albert Taipov, the Chairman of the Association, and Sergey Titov, the head of the department of contest projects of the Association.
The opening ceremony was also attended by N. D. Ukrainets, the Chairperson of the Republic's Public Organization "Batskovschina – Society of Belarusian Culture of the Udmurtia Republic", and K. F. Reznitskiy, the Chairman of the "Union of Artists of Udmurtia" – a Department of the All-Russia Creative Public Organization "Union of Russian Artists", and others.
The author of the exhibition, the paintress Elena Borisovna Yakimovich, was born in Votkinsk, a graduate of the arts-graphics department of the Udmurtian State University, Candidate of Philosophy; for a few years she taught a course in graphics at the Izhevsk State Technical University. At present, she is Associate Professor at the Division of Philosophic Teachings of the Belarusian National Technical University (Minsk, Belarus); she is teaching the history of arts and artistic disciplines.
